Up for your consideration is this Vintage Dam Troll LE Boy 8 in., Squishy Vinyl, All Original, in good used condition. I\'m unsure of the year of production of these, probably the 1970s, but there is no mark indicating such.
He is all original with the exception of the patches that have been added to his britches. The doll itself is in decent shape; very nice and thick orange colored hair that is not faded or patchy; eyes are the original, probably plastic, a darker amber shade in good shape with no scratches or seen flaws.
The shirt is in good condition, however his britches though original, are very thinning. The suspender and snaps are intact, but the shorts are pretty shot. I did not want to remake the shorts and have half of his clothes original and half upgraded. Thus, the orange patches were added to his shabby shorts. It would be easy enough to cut them off and use as a pattern to remake him some new nice pants.
He is marked behind the left ear and on back with the Thomas Dam circle stamp, ear mark is shown in photo, circle on back is not.
His skin is very nice, smooth, no ink, chews or mars. The blush on his face has some minor flaking off, not easy to see. It is fairly simple to re-blush these guys as most of you probably know.
The Limited Edition Dam trolls are getting scarce, and this one with gorgeous hair and nice eyes, is a beauty. Check photos and see if you agree. A very nice troll to overhaul should you be talented with a sewing needle and/or yarn. Or leave him as is. He is quite adorable. I hate to let him go, but him going to a true troll lover, I\'m good with that. Would you consider adopting him?
