Wonderful vintage mid-century tobacciana collection featuring an original Decatur Industries Inc. DECO wooden pipe stand/rack, three vintage estate smoking pipes and a hand-painted ceramic ashtray.
The Decatur stand features a warm walnut-tone wood finish, brass-tone supports and four openings for displaying pipes. Original Decatur Industries Inc. label remains on the underside. Stand measures approximately 10 inches across the rounded base as shown.
Included are 3 vintage used tobacco pipes, including:
• Hickok Premier – Imported Briar pipe with black stem, metal accent band and stem emblem
• Two additional vintage briar/wood estate smoking pipes
• Marutomoware Handpainted ceramic ashtray featuring a colorful figural gentleman design
• Decatur Industries four-pipe tabletop display stand
All pipes show evidence of previous smoking/use, including darkening and carbon residue inside the bowls, surface wear, scratches and age-related patina. Wood stand also has normal vintage wear, marks and finish variation. Ceramic ashtray displays age-related crazing visible in the glaze.
Pipes have not been professionally cleaned, sanitized or restored and are being sold as found as vintage collectibles.
