Authentic vintage wooden textile mill bobbin/spool by Dixon’s, England. Large is Approx. 12” tall with metal-rimmed ends. Small is 6” tall with one metal end. Wonderful original aged wood, wear and industrial patina from use. Dixon’s of Steeton, Yorkshire was a historic English manufacturer of wooden bobbins for the wool, cotton and silk textile industries. Original markings remain visible on metal rim. Sold as found; I have not refinished or polished it.”
