Vintage Don Shryock handcrafted metal botanical sculpture featuring slender cattail-like stems and sculptural copper leaves mounted in a natural porous stone/coral-style base.

A wonderful small-scale example of Mid-Century Modern / Brutalist metalwork, with hand-worked copper elements showing attractive aged patina and character.

Original underside label reads “Sculpture by Don Shryock, Cincinnati, OH 45240.”

Measures approximately 8\" tall with a 2.5\" wide base.

Great little piece for an MCM, Brutalist, studio craft, copper art or vintage sculpture collection.

One correction from my earlier wording: I would not definitively call the base coral unless we can establish that. It certainly has a coral-like porous structure, but for I\'d say “natural porous stone/coral-style base” rather than risk misidentifying the material.Please review all photos carefully.
