Vintage Duchin Pair of Sterling Silver Five Arm Convertible Weighted Candelabra
This is a matched pair of vintage five arm candelabras by Duchin Creation, a well-known mid-20th-century American silver maker. Both bases are marked \"Sterling / Duchin Creation / Weighted\" with Duchin\'s hand logo, and both arm units are marked \"Sterling Weighted.\" The arm units appear original to the set.
Each candelabra features four gracefully curved arms around a central candle cup, a baluster stem, and a gadroon (rope-twist) border on the base. The design is convertible: lift off the arm units, and the bases work as a pair of single candlesticks, giving you two looks in one. The pair suits a dining table or mantel, Shabbat candle lighting, or holiday tablescapes, and makes a lovely wedding gift.

Please note: These are weighted sterling. The outer shell is sterling silver, and the interior is filled for stability, as is standard for this type of piece. They are not solid silver throughout. Candles shown for display only and are not included.
Condition: Pre-Owned/Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are light surface scratches, a small ding on the bottom edge of one base, and one arm\'s candle cup sits at a slight tilt, most noticeable with tall candles inserted (see photos). They have been cleaned and hand-polished to highlight the vintage patina but not professionally polished, and could be brightened further if desired. Please review all photos and the video, as they are part of the description.
