Vintage E. R. Heller Milling Company 50 lb. poultry feed/grain sack from Hellers Mills in Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania.
Great old agricultural advertising piece featuring a colorful illustration of a chicken pulling a cart with a woman riding behind it. The front reads “Pure Mixed Grains for Poultry” and lists cracked corn, wheat, oats, barley and buckwheat.
Measures approximately 17” wide x 30” long.
This bag appears to have never been filled or used and remains very clean overall for its age. There is some paper/surface loss on the back, apparently from old adhesive or storage, along with some water staining/discoloration near the bottom. There are additional light marks and age-related wear. Please review all photos closely for condition.
A particularly nice piece of Pennsylvania farm, feed mill, poultry and agricultural advertising that would display well framed or as part of a country store, farmhouse or feed sack collection.
For shipping, the sack will be loosely rolled rather than folded and packed in a 6” x 6” x 20” box to help protect it during transit.
