Elegant vintage EPIAG porcelain creamer and covered sugar bowl set, made in Czechoslovakia. This attractive matching pair features a warm cream-colored glaze accented with rich copper-toned metallic luster on the handles, trim, lid, and finial.
The softly rounded forms and restrained metallic decoration give the set a classic early 20th-century Art Deco appearance. The covered sugar bowl retains its original lid, making this a particularly appealing set for collectors or for display as part of a vintage tea or coffee service.
EPIAG was the export association used by several prominent Bohemian porcelain manufacturers during the early 20th century. Pieces bearing the EPIAG name were produced for international markets and are especially associated with the interwar period. The “Made in Czechoslovakia” mark places this set after the formation of Czechoslovakia in 1918, making it a lovely example of vintage Central European porcelain.
