Elegant vintage EMPIRE MADE divided serving tray featuring two removable cobalt-blue glass dishes set within an intricate pierced/reticulated silver-tone metal frame.
The combination of the intense cobalt-blue glass and openwork metal surround creates a particularly striking mid-century table presentation. The tray features substantial rectangular swing-style handles on both ends and two individual removable glass inserts.
The metal frame has an attractive repeating pierced lattice design with scalloped edging, while the cobalt glass has softly rounded rectangular corners and substantial molded construction.
MARKING:
The metal is clearly marked “EMPIRE MADE” on the underside of one handle/frame member. The mark is shown in the photographs.

CONDITION DETAILS
Good vintage condition overall with expected age-related wear.
The cobalt-blue glass inserts show light surface scratches/scuffs and small manufacturing bubbles/imperfections visible upon close inspection. The metal frame has surface wear, oxidation/tarnishing, and age-related discoloration consistent with vintage use. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.

PLEASE NOTE: The metal has been described as silver-tone/silver-plated rather than sterling because the visible marking does not indicate sterling silver.
