This Depression-era clear pressed glass pattern features Federal\'s distinctive raised beaded/dot decoration radiating across the square underplate, along with a matching domed cover decorated with concentric beads and vertical beaded accents. The underplate also features a striking molded starburst center.
The set consists of the original two pieces:
- Square/scalloped Columbia underplate
- Matching round domed cover with molded glass knob

Underplate: about 6\" across
Cover: about 5\" diameter
The piece is unmarked, as expected for this pattern. An old collector\'s identification label reading “Columbia Federal Glass Co. 1938-1942 Butter Dish & Cover” remains attached to the underside of the plate.
A wonderful authentic piece of pre-WWII American Depression-era glassware and an attractive addition to a Federal Glass or Columbia pattern collection.
