A whole, unopened, uncut original and intact feed sack in bag form used during the 19th and mid-20th centuries to package commodities like flour, grain, and animal feed. The bag is tubular or rectangular and sewn down the side, opening the single chain-stitch seam doubles the flat surface area, turning a roughly 21" x 37" sack into a continuous piece of fabric measuring around 42" x 37". Original chain stitching at the top/bottom. Rare and hard to find piece that is great for quilters, collectors, and historians for Depression-era and WWII-era cotton prints. It is in beautiful condition, a true rarity, and the print is full of vibrancy.The feed sack is a beautiful blue and features red tulips and carnations and white and green and deep blue accents.
