An authentic French license plate from the Yvelines department (78), west of Paris, home to Versailles. It uses the format France used from 1993 until the SIV system replaced it in 2009: three digits, three letters, then the two digit department number, with the blue European band and \"F\" country code on the left.
The plate is embossed aluminum with raised black characters on a white and silver field, framed by a black rolled border. The blue Euroband shows the circle of twelve gold stars and the white \"F.\" Two mounting holes are present, one on each end.
Condition:Used, in good shape. The characters are crisp and clearly legible, and the border and Euroband are intact, with only light surface wear and a few small marks from use. Please see the photos, as they are part of the description.
