Beautiful vintage set of 5 glass Christmas ornaments made in the GDR (East Germany). These colorful blown-glass baubles feature vivid jewel-tone glass in pink, red, turquoise blue, green and amber, decorated with hand-painted floral and foliage motifs accented with white and gold glitter.
Marked "Made in GDR" on the box, dating the ornaments to the former East Germany era, 1949–1990.
Five ornaments remain from the original six-piece set. Includes the original molded insert and vintage window box. Box shows age-related wear, creasing and discoloration as pictured. Ornaments show expected vintage character; please review photos closely for condition.
