Front reads “Hallowe’en Morning” with the verse: “When the owls begin to hoot! Quickly don your mummer’s suit, steal softly out, and don’t be late, for Hallowe’en decides your fate.” Design is marked “Design Copyrighted, John Winsch, 1912.”
Postally used with handwritten message and address, original 1-cent stamp, and October 1913 postmark. Reverse is marked Printed in Germany.
