-History: Highly collectible cross-over piece popular for both early Halloween parading and fraternal lodge/Odd Fellows rituals.
-Material: These are made from pressed, starched linen gauze or cheesecloth. The fabric was pressed into a mold to retain features like the nose and chin. then hand-painted or stenciled with vibrant colors-Design Features: This specific piece features prominent hand-painted eyebrows, blue eyeshadow, blushing cheeks, and oversized attached side ears, attached with three original staples along side the head, typical of whimsical character and clown designs from the era.
