Up for sale/sale is a highly collectible, rare piece of vintage American food advertising. This is an original genuine marsh -O whip- tin manufactured by the Marsh-O- whip Company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Dating back to approximately the 1920s -1930s this container features a beautiful graphic of a white dove carrying an olive branch in detailed vintage topography. The label boasts its use as a delicious topping for ice cream, sundaes, fruits, pastries, and states is far superior to whipped cream. This advertising can is an antique, used condition. The paper label shows some, minor staining, and age related discoloration as seen in the photos, but remains remarkably intact in vivid lettering and graphics. The metal top and bottom rim show expected vintage patina. Inside condition shows a little as well, relatively shiny considering its age with its original wax paper seal inside.
