Vintage Geo M Bundy Bb Tenor Saxophone made in Elkhart, IN by the Pan American company. Chu berry style setup, but comfortable on the hands. Includes case and some extras in the case. Here’s the story with this great inexpensive vintage tenor sax: This horn has the Geo M Bundy stamp which caught my eye in a store. The matching Chesterfield case that came with it also caught my eye. I tried it out with my mouthpiece and I could hear that it had a great core sound but needed a lot of work. I changed all the pads and corks as necessary, put on a new neck cork, and I also added the articulated G# to modernize the key work. The horn really opened up and became a monster vintage player. I’ve played this on many gigs and have surprised many people with the tone, sound, response and cry of this horn especially when they find out it’s an old Bundy. The case is in great shape and all latches and handles work! Neck is in great original shape with no pull down. Lacquer is in good shape with some wear here and there. The pearls are still in good shape as well. This is an inexpensive player! This would be great for student tenor sax players, alto players who need a tenor, or a pit/studio musician who needs an inexpensive tenor for doubling.

This is a “stencil” of the Pan American made model 46M vintage circa 1940. Serial #55216. The Geo M Bundy line was launched by Selmer USA is 1933, using Pan American brass instruments and saxes.

Please note: If you don’t wanna deal with the big old case because it is heavier and costs more for shipping, I also have a used ProTec contoured case that I could use to ship it in. Either way I will bubble wrap it carefully inside and outside of the case, and have it in a protective box for shipping.
