• Black coated canvas with a small tonal GG-oval print and black pebbled leather trim
• Gold-tone hardware stamped "GUCCI" and "ITALY", with a GG plate on the front tab and a GG zipper pull
• Interior leather tag reads "Gucci Accessory Collection, Made in Italy", with style number 39.02.006
• Cream/beige suede-like textile lining, one interior zip pocket, top zip closure
• Measures: 11" W x 7" H x 4.5" D. Handle drop is 4.5". Weight is 340 g (12 oz), bag only.
Condition: pre-owned, heavily worn. All flaws I found:
• Coating is flaking and peeling at the bottom corners and the top corners of both end panels
• Rubbed, dull, scuffed patches on the front right panel and both end panels
• Scratches and scuff marks across the canvas
• Whitish smudge or residue on the side panel near the bottom
• Finish chipped off the underside of a handle, exposing tan underneath. There is light cracking on the handle.
• Piping is cracked and shedding black flecks, especially at the right end near the zipper
• Interior lining has spotting, mottling and small dark specks on the base
• Light wear on the gold hardware and the zipper slider tab
• [Add: smell or no odor, and whether the zipper runs smoothly]
Authenticity: Based on the interior tag, hardware stamps and construction, this appears consistent with a 1980s Gucci Accessory Collection bag. I am not a professional authenticator, so please judge for yourself from the photos. Ask any questions before buying.
