Difficult to see while wearing the watch, but wanted to point them out. Offered is a handsome vintage Hamilton mechanical wristwatch featuring a classic silver-tone dial, applied gold-tone hour markers and a distinctive red sweep seconds hand.Inside is the desirable Hamilton caliber 649, a Swiss-made 17-jewel manual-wind mechanical movement. The movement is clearly signed Hamilton Watch Co. Inc., 649, Seventeen 17 Jewels, Swiss.The watch measures approximately 37mm across the case and is fitted with a brown aftermarket leather strap, giving it a handsome vintage dress/casual appearance.Condition & Function:The watch is currently running and keeping time when wound. No recent service history is known, and accuracy, power reserve and water resistance have not been professionally tested.The watch presents nicely for its age while showing honest vintage wear. The gold-tone case shows scratches, finish/plating wear and age-related marks. The dial shows visible age/patina and the crystal has scratches/marks.
