Vintage Handmade Eight Point Star Quilt – Approx. 106” x 84”
Beautiful large vintage handmade quilt featuring repeating eight-point star blocks in soft blue, white/cream and a delicate multicolor floral print.
The quilt measures approximately 106” x 84” and features extensive quilting throughout the blocks, sashing and borders. The quilting creates beautiful curved and decorative patterns that give the solid blue areas wonderful texture.
The reverse features a fabulous vintage-style large-scale floral fabric in shades of blue, white and green.
PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: This is an older quilt with significant age-related fabric deterioration. Several of the small floral-print pieces within the star blocks have torn, shattered or worn away, exposing the batting/interior beneath. Additional areas may have thinning fabric, loose threads, small stains, discoloration or other age-related wear. Please enlarge and review all photos carefully, particularly the close-up condition photos.
Despite the fabric deterioration, this remains a beautiful piece of handmade textile work. It would be wonderful for a vintage quilt collection, textile study, restoration project, display, repurposing or cottage/farmhouse decor.
