J.M. Gordon Co. aluminum utility lug (bin/trough).
This specific piece has fantastic local provenance, cleanly stamped on the side with: "I. S. U. RESIDENCE HALLS" (Iowa State University). It was originally utilized in the campus dining hall kitchens for mass food transport, storage, or dishware sorting.
