Offered is a beautiful vintage Hebrew Siddur (Jewish prayer book) featuring an unusually elaborate decorative metal cover.The book contains 512 numbered pages and is entirely in Hebrew — there is no English translation. The ornate cover features detailed Jewish religious imagery, Hebrew lettering, decorative borders, and representations associated with the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The back cover features additional religious imagery, including Moses holding the Tablets of the Law.The covers have the appearance of silver but are silver-plated/decorative metal, not solid silver. The plating and metal show appropriate signs of age and use, including areas of wear and patina. I have not polished or refinished the covers, so the original aged appearance and decorative detail have been preserved.
