Vintage Henri Farny / Modèle Supérieur (serial #23154) Metal Clarinet
I spent some time researching this instrument and specifics are scarce. The closest I can narrow down the production period is to the 1910-1920s.
The Henri Farny / Modèle Supérieur Albert system wood clarinet is famous.
Unlike the the famous wood version, this clarinet is metal, silver plated, and uses the Boehm system.
The tube is straight.
The mouth piece is included. I think this is the original case.I do not play the clarinet. I worked all the mechanisms and everything works and I see nothing broken, although one of the lever\'sspring is very weak. A pad has fallen out. These look like replacement pads, and they themselves now need replaced.
it is well made. Please examine photos.
