There are no visible manufacturer or brand markings, so these are being listed as unbranded vintage Hong Kong racing cars.
The lot includes 9 cars total in several color variations:
- 5 orange/red Formula-style racing cars
- 2 blue Formula-style racing cars
- 2 white Formula-style racing cars
The cars feature vintage Formula 1 / Grand Prix styling, exposed engine details, racing graphics and rear wings/spoilers.
Important condition note:
Two of the orange cars have broken rear spoilers. The damage can be seen through the original bags and is shown in the photographs.
All nine cars remain with their original vintage packaging. The clear plastic bags and cardboard header cards show normal-to-heavy age and storage wear, including wrinkles, creases, scuffing, discoloration, staple wear and old retail price stickers. Because the cars remain inside the bags, I have not removed them to inspect underneath or test the wheels.
These appear to be vintage dime-store/import toys from Hong Kong rather than a major branded diecast line. Similar packaged Hong Kong Grand Prix toys survive less often in their original packaging, which is the main appeal of this lot.
