Vintage Showa-era wind-up robot toy by Horikawa toys, made in Japan, dating from the 1970s (over 55 years old). A spring-wound mechanism rotates 4 gears on the chest, producing sparks from the center of the chest as the robot walks. Total length approximately 21cm. Motion has been confirmed. The item was kept as a display piece rather than played with, so it shows only minor age-related wear.
