Vintage IBM Aptiva desktop computer, model 2144-M51, manufactured in 1995.
The computer powers on, displays video, completes the memory test, and enters the IBM SurePath Setup Utility. The following specifications were detected in BIOS:
* Intel Pentium 100 MHz processor
* 64 MB system memory
* 1 MB video memory
* 3.5-inch floppy drive detected
* Original hard drive is physically installed but is not detected by BIOS
* New CR2032 CMOS battery installed; date and time settings are retained
The computer does not boot into an operating system and displays the insert boot disk screen. A 301 keyboard error appeared during testing after repeated key presses, but the keyboard subsequently responded and BIOS navigation was possible.
The front drive door/cover is missing or damaged. The case has significant cosmetic wear, discoloration, dust, scratches, and areas of surface rust consistent with age and storage. Please carefully review all photos for the exact physical condition.
