Vintage IBM PC 300PL Type 6562 desktop computer, sold AS IS for parts, repair, or restoration.
The computer powers on, displays video, completes the initial startup process, and allows access to the BIOS setup. The BIOS recognizes the installed Western Digital Caviar 22500 hard drive, but the computer does not boot into an operating system and displays a “1962 Boot Sequence Error.”

During testing, the computer also displayed POST configuration and pointing-device errors. The operating system, hard drive data, CD-ROM drive, floppy drive, ports, audio, and other functions have not been fully tested.
Please note: the exterior identification label shows Type/Model 6562-34U, while the BIOS Product Data screen shows 6562-86U. This may indicate that the motherboard or another component was replaced at some point. Both are shown in the photos.
The computer has age-related cosmetic wear, marks, scratches, dust, and discoloration. Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition and included components.
