Vintage IBM Personal Computer 300PL / Former T4 Fax Server – Sold AS IS / For Parts or Repair
Vintage IBM PC 300PL tower, Machine Type/Model 6592-84U, dating from the late 1990s.
The computer was powered on and tested with a monitor. It successfully completes the initial startup process, produces video output, and allows access to the IBM Configuration/Setup Utility (BIOS).

The computer contains multiple expansion cards, including a large Brooktrout Technology fax/telecommunications board. The front of the computer has an original-use label reading “T4 FAX SERVER – 10.76.11.60,” indicating that this system was previously configured as a fax server.
Three Kingston memory modules are installed.
Testing / Known Issues:
The system powers on and displays video correctly. BIOS/Setup is accessible.
During startup, the computer displays:
* 162 – Configuration Change Has Occurred
* 1762 – Configuration Change Has Occurred
* 1962 – Boot Sequence Error
BIOS currently reports the hard disk drives as “Not Installed.” No operating system boots.
The computer was opened for inspection, and detailed photos of the internal components are included in the listing.
The CD-ROM and floppy drives are detected by BIOS, but their ability to read media has not been fully tested.
The installed expansion cards, including the Brooktrout fax/telecommunications hardware, have not been individually tested and their functionality is not guaranteed.
Power supply is an original-style Astec AA19950, IBM FRU P/N 75H8991, rated at 200W.
The computer has substantial cosmetic wear consistent with its age and previous commercial use, including dirt/dust, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, marks, worn labels/stickers and other signs of use. Please carefully review all photos for the exact condition.
