Beautiful and highly detailed Indian Ganesha statue featuring Lord Ganesha seated on an ornate decorative base with four arms, elaborate crown, jewelry and traditional attributes.
This is a substantial, heavy piece for its size, weighing approximately 1 lb. 7 oz. (640 grams).

Metal Composition
The statue was tested with an XRF analyzer at multiple locations over the piece. The readings were consistent throughout:
* Copper (Cu): 61.18%
* Zinc (Zn): 35.96%
* Tungsten (W): 1.50%
* Iridium (Ir): 1.11%
* Nickel (Ni): 0.24%
The XRF results indicate that the statue is a copper-zinc brass alloy. It is also non-magnetic.
The statue has an attractive aged/antiqued silver-gray appearance with areas of natural-looking patina and greenish oxidation, particularly around portions of the underside and back.
No maker’s mark or identifying stamp was found on the underside.
Please examine all photographs carefully. There is visible surface wear, patina, oxidation, discoloration and imperfections consistent with age/use. I have not polished or aggressively cleaned the piece, so the existing surface and patina remain intact.
I am not claiming a specific age, maker, or exact place of manufacture beyond identifying it as an Indian-style Ganesha figure. Please judge the age and condition for yourself from the photographs.
