Vintage Japanese Hina Ningyo (Dairi-bina) pair, Emperor and Empress, from a Hinamatsuri display. Part of a larger set I'm selling in separate lots.
Emperor: Tall black hat with purple cord and tassel. Navy, green and gold chrysanthemum brocade robe with orange under-sleeves. Original clear plastic wrap still on part of his sash.
Empress: Orange, red and gold layered brocade robes with orange decorative knots, hakama, white sash, and a gold hair ornament with purple cord.
Painted faces, plastic hands. Silk-style brocade in very good vintage condition with light age wear.
Missing: Emperor's baton and Empress's fan. No stand included.
Size: Approx. 9 in x 11 in each (width x height), without the Emperor's hat.
