Vintage Japanese Shigaraki-style studio pottery tsubo vase featuring a warm reddish-brown stoneware body with natural white feldspar speckling and a flowing greenish-brown ash glaze around the shoulder and rim.
The vase has a hand-thrown, rustic form with visible wheel marks and natural firing variations throughout. An impressed potter’s seal is present on the underside, though the artist has not been positively identified.
Approximate size: 7 inches tall and about 8 inches wide.
