Vintage mid-century pouty crawling Kewpie / piano baby bisque figurine, approximately 3¼” tall.The sculpt, crawling pose, distinctive downturned expression and dimensions correspond closely with documented Lefton KW228-series examples. This example no longer retains a visible Lefton foil label or model-number stamp, so it is being sold as attributed to Lefton KW228 rather than as a marked example.Features large hand-painted side-glancing eyes with eyelashes, rosy cheeks, downturned mouth, molded hair tufts and classic crawling baby pose.Matte bisque finish shows normal vintage surface wear, discoloration/soiling and rubbing, particularly around the underside and feet. Original firing/vent hole is present. No obvious major cracks, repairs or missing limbs observed.Approx. height: 3¼”
