VINTAGE LIONEL TRAIN RUBBER STAMP COLLECTION
Interesting group of vintage train-related rubber stamps that came from the inventory of a former train store.
We are helping a friend of the family clean out a large collection of trains, parts and accessories. Our relative owned and operated a train store in New York that went out of business in the 1990s, and these were found stored with a large amount of Lionel O Gauge / O Line train inventory from the shop.
The lot includes the larger wood-handled “LIONEL LINES” rubber stamp along with the assortment of smaller numbered stamps shown in the photos.
Many of the smaller stamps have been kept individually bagged, but we do not know whether they have ever actually been used. Because we don\'t know much about these, we have not attempted to identify every number or determine exactly what each stamp was originally intended for.
Please look closely at ALL photos. The pictures are the best description of the stamps, numbers, condition and exactly what is included.
They have been stored for many years and may show age or storage wear. The larger Lionel Lines stamp in particular shows signs of age/use.
A really unusual group of old train-store inventory that would be interesting for a Lionel collector, restorer, dealer or anyone who enjoys vintage model railroad memorabilia.
