Up for sale/sale is a stunning, authentic mid-century modern ceramic figural table lamp base in a striking high-gloss celadon green glaze. This piece perfectly captures the highly collectible 1950s–1960s Chinoiserie aesthetic. It features a beautifully sculpted Asian male warrior figure dressed in traditional formal attire, standing gracefully atop a stylized cloud-motif circular pedestal base.
This is the single male figure from what was originally a mirrored male-and-female pair. It is a fantastic replacement piece if you already own the female companion, or it makes a magnificent, standalone retro statement piece for a Hollywood Regency, Tiki, or MCM interior design layout.
