Vintage MCM Western Germany Cufflinks Lot 2 Pr Hawk\'s Eye Stone Hudson Bay Co. Up for sale is a rare, deadstock collector\'s lot of two (2) pairs of mid-century modern men\'s cufflinks. Made in Western Germany during the Cold War era (circa 1950s-1960s), these sets were originally purchased together at the historic Hudson\'s Bay Company (HBC) department store.Design Details:
- Pair 1: Soft square geometric design with a polished gold-plated frame.
- Pair 2: Trapeze / triangular modernist geometric design with a polished gold-plated frame.
- Inlay: Both pairs feature matching genuine smoky gray hawk\'s eye (chatoyant tiger\'s eye) cabochon stone inlays showing beautiful parallel banding and natural iridescence.
- Markings: Stamped \"Gold-Plated Germany\" on the curved post shanks.Condition:
New Old Stock (NOS) / Deadstock condition. The cufflinks are pristine and unworn, still attached to their original satin display inserts with the factory elastic bands.
