Colorful lithographed freight cars, a Canadian Pacific locomotive and tender, a New York Central wrecker, and a manual semaphore make a display with plenty to explore. The pieces are being sold together as the pictured lot.

🚃 Included in the Lot

• Canadian Pacific–style electric steam locomotive — black and silver streamlined metal body with red trim and a 0-4-0 wheel arrangement. Exact locomotive catalog number has not been confirmed.
• Canadian Pacific tender — black tinplate body with an embossed coal-load top.
• No. 552 Rock Island C.R.I.&P. gondola — green and red open freight car.
• No. 553 Santa Fe “Middle States Oil” tank car — silver tank with Santa Fe graphics.
• No. 556 New York Central Lines caboose — red body with raised center cupola.
• No. 550 New York Central Lines “Wrecker” crane car — orange cab, red boom, and black frame.
• Marx manual semaphore signal — red metal trackside accessory with a movable signal arm; believed to be No. 311, though its number has not been confirmed.

📏 Gauge & Construction

• Marx O-gauge tinplate train pieces with metal wheels and tab-and-slot style couplers.
• The freight cars are from Marx’s compact 6-inch tinplate series. “O gauge” refers to the track size; these vintage toy trains are not uniformly built to exact 1:48 scale.

🔎 Condition

• Vintage, pre-owned pieces with visible play and age wear, including scratches, paint chips, finish wear, and oxidation on some exposed metal parts.
• The locomotive has noticeable wear to its silver side panels and black body. Its front smokestack appears to be missing.
• The Canadian Pacific tender has scattered scratches and paint wear.
• The Rock Island gondola retains legible graphics, with edge and surface wear.
• The Santa Fe tank car has scratches on the tank and oxidation on its dome and end caps.
• The New York Central caboose has scratches and paint chips, particularly on the roof and cupola.
• The wrecker has paint loss along its frame and boom. No hanging crane hook is visible at the boom tip.
• The semaphore has paint wear and is a manual, rather than electrically operated, accessory.
• The locomotive and crane have not been tested for operation. Please review all photos closely for the condition of each piece and everything included.
