The dramatic carved green onyx face is surrounded by ornate sterling silver scrollwork and accented by six bezel-set marquise-shaped green onyx stones. Twisted-rope silver borders, handmade-style links and the substantial construction give this necklace an impressive early Mexican silver appearance.
Marked STERLING / MEXICO, although the marks are worn and difficult to read. Maker has not been determined.
