Vintage Michigan State University Spartans full-size felt pennant featuring a fantastic early-style Sparty / Spartan warrior graphic.

Measures approximately 28.5" long, making this a true full-size vintage collegiate pennant rather than one of the smaller souvenir versions.

Based on the construction, lettering, university name and early Spartan artwork, this appears to be an older mid-century example, likely from around the 1960s era. Exact age and manufacturer are unconfirmed.

There appears to have originally been a sewn tag/label near the edge that is now mostly missing. Pennant shows age-related wear consistent with an older felt collectible. Please examine all photos closely for condition, stitching, edges, graphics and measurements.

A very cool and unusual piece of Michigan State history. We were unable to locate another exact example with this Spartan graphic and construction.
