The box features flared mid-century stylized sides and retains its beautiful, authentic dark aged patina on the brass. The bottom is clearly stamped with the classic \"HECHO EN MEXICO\" mark alongside a hand-incised artisan workshop maker\'s mark.Interior: Features its original red velvet lining in excellent vintage condition-making this a dedicated jewelry/trinket keepsake box rather than a standard wood-lined cigarette box.Dimensions: Approximately 4.5\" inches wide x 3.5\" inches deep (lid measurements).Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a tight, properly working hinge. The mosaic tiles are intact, and the brass shows a wonderful historic patina.
