Vintage Mikimoto cultured Akoya pearl necklace featuring a single strand of individually knotted pearls and a decorative 14K yellow gold clasp.
The clasp is marked with the Mikimoto M-in-shell maker’s hallmark and K14 gold mark. Gold components have also been acid tested as 14K.
Necklace measures approximately 16.5 inches in length.
Pearls measure approximately 60-65mm, with subtle graduation throughout the strand. Pearls display a creamy white/ivory body color with attractive rose, pink and silvery overtones and good vintage luster.
The decorative openwork clasp features an additional small cultured pearl accent.
This appears consistent with vintage Mikimoto Japanese Akoya pearl necklaces produced with K14 gold clasps.
