Vintage 1970s Mother of Pearl Bird Cabochon.

Each is handmade, and hand painted, one of a kind.
You will receive one piece of our choosing unless you ask for a specific design type that you see in the photos. Most are of the black bird type. All are metal backed. Size is shown in photos, about 1 inch (3 cm) long.
Made of abalone shell and enamel and possibly stone on some. Our previous buyer have used them for necklaces, rings, earrings, and other mixed media art pieces. Small and fairly thin, ships in a white envelope.
Never used or worn (dead stock) and kept in storage for 40 years. Part of a family jewelry shop in San Diego that closed its doors in the 1970s, as is most of the jewelry we sell.
