I’m very excited to offer for your consideration this absolutely STUNNING 1920’s bare bulb LOW flush mount chandelier!
This fixture completely embodies 1920’s stylings, and is of much better than average quality. I’ve never offered a fixture quite like this one before, and it is one of the more elegant fixtures from this period that I’ve restored. It wantsto be a strap style chandelier, but its arms are tubular - and fluted, no less. This is a strange, fun piece - perfect for a room with low ceilings, perhaps.
Overall, this fixture is in excellent condition, having undergone a full strip & refinish, returning it to a lovely golden brass color. This piece really stands out from more commonly seen lighting of this era, and I LOVE how curvaceous it is. I have still left subtle signs of age in place though, so that one can tell that the piece is, well, old!
If you’ve been looking for something fun and unique for your foyer, or a larger hall or bedroom, this fixture might just be the one!
This scale of this fixture is ideal for almost any small or medium size room, perhaps with low ceilings, measuring approximately 12.5 - inches to the bottom of the finial as shown. It is quite robust in diameter, measuring at about 19 - inches in diameter measured diagonally, and 15\" across. I am not able to make any length or diameter adjustments to this piece.
The brass, keyless sockets are original, while the wiring and mounting hardware are new. Light bulbs are not included. I show period correct, frosted “Mazda” style painted bulbs, though incandescent or Edison style LED’s would look great as well.
Shipped via UPS ground.
