Vintage Original 1930s Car Truck Accessory Radio Speaker Under-Dash Mounted:

Here is a vintage 1930s under dash speaker that would have been mounted to a cowl firewall and connected by wire to a dash mounted radio. I cannot find any manufacturing labels or logos. I have no idea of the brand of the speaker or what brand of radio it would have been plugged into. See photos of plug that may provide this information. Speaker housing measures 8-5/8\" in diameter and would protrude about 4-1/2\" from the firewall when mounted by single bolt as shown. Very good used condition. Speaker is untested. Would need to be rewired for usage. Case has no signs of abuse, dings, dents, or rust. Perfect candidate for restoration. Case originally painted in black crinkle paint which is still in very good condition. Speaker covering that is seen in photos may have been replaced at one time. Speaker will be sold in \'as is\' condition and as not working in current condition. Could be restored for either six volt or 12 volt systems as desired. Please see photos for details.
