Vintage Philco Model 40-120 Tabletop AM/PB Tube Radio For Parts Or Restoration For Sale

Fresh from a local estate that had hundreds of radios, this is a Philco Model 40-120 Art Deco AM/PB tabletop tube radio that is a great candidate for parts or restoration.  The radio does not power up when turned on, so it will need to be recapped to get it functioning.   As such, the radio is being sold \"As Is\" for restoration or parts.   Fortunately all of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester, so that can be eliminated from the restoration process.   All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly but the dial indicator does not function and will need to be restrung. The finish on the body is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax, unfortunately the wooden grill is broken and missing most of the louvres.  The power cord is in good condition, still flexible.  Do not miss out on this opportunity to add this great radio to your collection.  In order to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer all will be considered.
