Beautiful miniature porcelain trinket box fashioned in the shape of an elegant upholstered chair, richly decorated with an assortment of pink, blue, yellow and red flowers against a creamy white porcelain ground.
The chair is unusually detailed for its petite size. The seat and high back feature multiple floral arrangements with scattered gilt accents and gold-painted arm details. The reverse is decorated with a large yellow floral bouquet, while the base carries an additional pink floral border with black-and-gold geometric detailing.
An antiqued brass-tone metal mount surrounds the hinged box and is finished with a decorative bow-shaped front clasp. The floral decoration continues inside the box, with small pink-and-blue rose bouquets decorating both interior surfaces—a particularly charming detail.

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall and displays beautifully. There is a small area of damage/loss to the floral decoration/appliqué on the upper left portion of the chair back, clearly visible and photographed. There is also expected age-related wear/patina to the metal mounting and minor wear to some gilt decoration. No other significant damage observed. Hinge and closure are present. Please review all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
