A vintage round lidded porcelain trinket box (vanity / powder / ring box) with a creamy white glaze. The domed lid has a blue and gold-outlined leaf, small blue forget-me-not flowers and gilt leaf sprays. The faceted base has small gilt leaf sprigs, and gold bands run around the lid and the rim.
Lidded porcelain boxes like this were a classic vanity and dresser piece, made to hold powder, rings or small trinkets.
Marked on the underside with a blue underglaze factory stamp: a small emblem above an oval cartouche with letters (see photo 3). The maker is not confirmed.
