Vintage flag of the Canadian province of Quebec, the Fleurdelisé or drapeau du Québec, adopted in 1948. Blue nylon field with a white cross pieced from separate nylon panels and four white nylon fleurs de lis, each appliqued with zigzag stitching. The hoist heading is hand marked Quebec in pen. The hoist carries a natural fiber rope halyard with a wooden toggle at the top and a rope loop at the bottom. No maker label found. Measures approximately 70 by 37 inches. Condition: used, with the honest age patina of a working flag. The white cross shows yellow toning and scattered brown flecks, and the heading is soiled gray. There is a worn spot with fraying and tan staining in the horizontal arm of the cross to the right of center, and the appliqued edges have loose thread ends. Seams and hems are intact, with no other holes visible.
