A deep black dial, sparkling applied markers and a broad, mirror-polished bezel give this vintage Rado DiaStar a striking presence. A fine dotted ring frames the hands, while the faceted crystal creates shifting reflections around the dial’s edge. The distinctive vertical day-and-date display at six o’clock completes the design.
This Swiss-made quartz example, reference 108.0107.3, is estimated to date from the 1980s. It belongs to the DiaStar family introduced in 1962, a collection closely associated with Rado’s pioneering use of hardmetal and its unmistakable approach to case design.

The watch is in working order. Its battery is currently removed, and a battery will be fitted before dispatch following the sale.
There is a very small scratch-like mark at the extreme upper edge of the bezel, directly above the twelve o’clock position. The bracelet, clasp and caseback also show surface wear consistent with use. Please examine the actual photographs for these details.
