Here is a real jewel. This medical pocket book was published in 1833 according to the inside, but has 1838 on the edge cover at the bottom. It was apparently authored by Dr. Benjamin Rush. The book is held together by 2 strings, one of which is missing but the other string is holding it all together. There are 254 numbered pages. As you can see there is a lot of writing on the blank pages and there is some turning of the paper pages that you can see in the pictures. Looks to be complete to me. Really neat information in this book on medical problems and health from that time period. Pictures should tell you a lot about the condition of the book.
