Beautiful vintage white and gold porcelain pedestal compote / centerpiece featuring an elaborate pierced reticulated lattice design.
This striking decorative bowl has a flared openwork basket with interwoven geometric latticework, repeating leaf motifs, a scalloped rim, and extensive gold gilt accents. The bowl rests on an elegant pedestal above a decorative square-form base.
The design has a classic Regency / Neoclassical / Hollywood Regency appearance and would make an impressive centerpiece on a dining table, sideboard, console table, mantel, or display cabinet.
The piece is marked “7118” in red. No manufacturer's backstamp or maker's name is visible, so it is being sold as unmarked / maker unknown.

Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear. White glazed porcelain with gold gilt decoration. Some light wear/loss to the gold trim is visible, particularly around the bands and edges. The underside is marked “7118” in red and has protective felt/tape along the base. The piece is constructed with a central metal fastener, as shown in the photos.
