Pattern sizes change throughout history, so please check the measurements in the photo on the back of the pattern before buying to ensure fit. 07 - Simplicity 3538: Misses\' One-piece Dress with detachable Peplum (16) 1951, NIP/uncut RARE!
Makes: Dress and Peplum
The front-buttoned bodice is cut in one with the kimono sleeve and features soft pleats at the neck. The skirt is softly pleated at the front waist and features a back panel. Peplum Style 1 and 2 features flap pockets. Style 1 has three quarter sleeves and a mandarin collar. Style 2 is collarless. Style 3 has a Peter Pan collar.

The halter, View 1, is fashioned with a deep V shaped neckline and wide front midriff section. Soft pleats above the midriff give bustline fulness. View 2: the sleeveless blouse has a high round neckline. Self fabric bands trim the neckline and armholes.

09 - Simplicity 3948: Nightgown in Three Lengths and Panties (16) ca.1961, cut RARE!
Makes: 3 Nightgowns and Panties
Nightgown, all views, have lowered gathered neckline and ribbon binding. V. 1 and 2 are sleeveless and have ribbon tie belt. Long length V. 1 has self fabric shoulder straps and heavy lace trim. Dress length, V. 2 has lace edging and ribbon shoulder straps. Shortie nightgown V. 3 has lace edging, elastic at shoulder and lower edge of short puff sleeves and ribbon bow. Panties have elastic at waistline. Legs have lace edged self ruffles formed by elastic in casing.

10 - SOLD - Simplicity 3967: Misses\' One-Piece Dress (14) 1952, cut
Makes: Dress
A \"Simple to Make\" wraparound fashion. The pattern consists of four pieces. No side seams or facings are necessary. Front bodice is gathered at lower edge and joins a wide midriff section which fastens at back with two buttons. The half circle skirt is flared and open at back below midriff closing. Contrast bias binding encases edges. View 2: Back section is contrasting.

Sleeveless dress or jumper is styled with wide V-shaped neckline accented with a lapped tab and button closing at center front. Slim skirt has a pleat at lower edge in back. Jacket buttons to neck, has a round collar. Three quarter sleeves are cut in one with jacket. Interestingly curved lower edges of jacket are detailed with welt pockets. An inverted pleat with a tab and button styles the back. Top stitching outlines jumper or dress and jacket edges.

Makes: Nightgown and Negligee
Style 1 The front yoke joins the softly gathered waist and skirt. Long full sleeves are gathered to a buttoned writs band; six button closing finishes the yoke front. The negligee is trimmed with top stitched lace inserts. Style 2. The pointed front insert is top stitched to the softly gathered bodice and to the bias cut skirt. The lace insert is mitered at the corners is stitched to the upper edge of the bodice.

Both views have waistline darts in front and back and side zipper closing. Upper edges is finished with a waistband. Pants and shorts may be made of stretch fabric. A shaped foot strap is used when the pants are made of stretch fabric.
